The now infamous ‘Tom and Katie video’ was first reported in US Weekly. It’s the latest in a string of celebrity sex tapes, including Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Paris Hilton and several different paramours and, most recently, Kid Rock, Scott Stapp, and several groupies.

After the US Weekly article appeared, millions of people went online and searched peer-to-peer networks like BitTorrent for the Tom and Katie video. But most viewers were sorely disappointed by what they saw.

‘It’s really hard to believe that’s Tom and Katie,’ said celebrity sex expert Prof. Robert Anderson of the University of Montana. ‘The man in the video is about 6′ taller than the girl. And while that does look like Katie has a pregnant stomach, the Velcro strap on her back is kind of suspicious.’
